Removing Address From Invoice (Not Working)

I did everything to remove my business address from the QB Invoice, but the address still appears on the bottom of the page below the "Pay Now" button under where it says "Thank You For You Business." I don't want me address attached to the invoice at all and have followed all the tutorials on how to remove it.

Any Ideas? I've attached a screen shot with my info blacked out to show where I'm talking about

Removing Address From Invoice (Not Working)

Yes, it does work in QuickBooks Self-Employed. You can remove the address from the invoice. I'd be glad to walk you through the steps to achieve this.

You can do it both in old or new invoices, removing the address. I'll attach screenshots with the steps for better reference:

1. Go to the Invoices menu and select any invoices.

2. Click the Edit work info hyperlink.

3. Erase the address and hit Save

4. Click the Preview tab on the bottom left and check the address.

Feel free to click this on how to personalize sales form: Create and customize invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

You can always leave a comment below if you have follow-up questions about customizing your invoices. I'm continuously here to assist you. Take care!

Removing Address From Invoice (Not Working)

Unfortunately I've tried this exact method several times before I even posted this question and it doesn't completely remove my address. It get removed from the top of the actual invoice, but when the email gets sent to the client, the address still shows up on the bottom of the email.

Thanks for following up with the Community, mjp389. I appreciate your detailed information and screenshot.

I can certainly understand how an ability to customize the formatting of your invoice emails could be useful and have submitted a suggestion about it as of today.

You can also submit your own feature requests while signed in.

Here's how:

  1. In the left navigation bar, go to Invoices.
  2. Click an invoice's Pencil () icon.
  3. Use your Feedback option.
  4. Enter any feature requests/feedback in the What did you think? text box.
  5. If necessary, you can attach an image file.
  6. Hit Next.
  7. Enter your email address.
  8. Select Done.

Your feedback's definitely valuable to Intuit. It will be reviewed by our Product Development team and considered in future updates. You can stay up-to-date with the latest news about your product by reviewing Intuit's Product Updates webpage.

For the time being, you can customize your PDF view of invoices.

If there's any questions, I'm just a post away. Have an awesome Thursday!

Removing Address From Invoice (Not Working)

Hello there, Lexin.

I understand how important privacy is for everyone. Currently, the feature to customize invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed isn't available. However, I have a workaround that can help you achieve this.

You can update your customer's email address information in QuickBooks Online and use your email address instead. Then, when you send the invoice to your email, you can forward it to your customer's email. While forwarding the invoice email, you can edit it, and then remove the address section to achieve your privacy needs.

Additionally, you can also consider exporting your transactions and getting reports to review your business's financial status in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Feel free to comment below for additional questions about customizing invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed. We're always here to help. Have a great day!
