Run report to see daily amount of customers

Hi Des Plaines Material!

Knowing how many shoppers went to your store in a specific period helps to make business decisions. I'm happy to guide you create a report for this.

To achieve this, you can use the Sales Detail report. It shows the number of receipts for a specified period. Then, you can customize and save it, so you can pull it up and change the period when you need to see the same report on future dates.

  1. From the Reports menu.
  2. Select Sales and choose Detail.

Run report to see daily amount of customers

Hi there, @Des Plaines Material.

Thanks for following up with us and letting us know that's not quite what you're looking for.

I have an alternative workaround that some of our other users have found beneficial for this type of scenario. In this workaround, you can use the same report that my colleague suggested above and export the data to Excel.

This way, when the data is in Excel you can receive a count number for the total amount of customers daily. I've covered some steps below to export the report to Excel.

  1. Open the Detail sales report.
  2. Customize the report as you see fit.
  3. At the top of the report, click on Excel.

Once your report is in Excel, you should see the number of daily customers. This way, you won't need to count them.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I'm always around to lend a hand. Take care!
