Hi, I want to schedule daily reports to be exported as an excel .csv file to a specific folder location. Currently I only see options to have the reports emailed from quickbooks, but I dont want to email my data at all.
For now, I am running my custom report everyday and saving it as an excel file to my defined folder.
Hope to get a more automated solution for this. Thank you!
Thanks for this feedback, @AndrewC1.
I'm going to forward this to our Product Development Team about having scheduled daily reports to be exported as an Excel .csv file to a specific folder location as an option besides just an email format. You can visit our Blog to see what's new in our Products and see upcoming features.

Hi,
Did this ever get implemented? I see it has been 3 years now.
I'm delighted to have you join the thread, RE-AR. I'll share information concerning this feature.
I understand your need to avoid emailing sensitive data and your preference for an alternative solution. While QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) offers email-based report delivery options, I comprehend your preference for a different approach.
Efficiently using QBDT for tasks is desirable. Unfortunately, the option to export scheduled reports to Excel format and save them in a specific folder is unavailable.
As of now, the method you've been using, running the custom report each day and manually saving it to your designated folder, is a practical workaround. I can see the importance of having this option for your business. With that, I suggest sending feedback to our product developers so they can review it and might consider adding this in our future updates.
Let me know if there's anything else you need help with scheduled reports. I'm more than happy to provide additional assistance. Keep safe!
