Scheduled Reports down in Enterprise and no communication on case in two months

Hey @Prajapati Rahul, same here.  I've been working with my IT company to test on multiple platforms, but none of them work.  I can send invoices via email with no problem but when it's up to Windows to send the email for me (via ScheduledReports.Scheduler.exe).  I have even located the file, right clicked and selected "Run as Administrator" but nothing happens.  Just curious, have you tried that?  To manually run the executable file?  Mine is located here:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intuit\QuickBooks\ScheduledReports  so maybe yours is somewhere similar?  Hopefully we can get some answers soon.  I'm just glad I'm not the only one having this problem because that's what Quickbooks wants me to believe every time I call them!

Hi @AileneA, I know you're trying to be helpful but please understand that Quickbooks support doesn't know anything about how Scheduled Reports work.  I've already had 3 different investigations closed on me with zero contact from anyone, unless I call back to sit on hold for forever, only to be told that the investigation was closed because the engineer did not find any problems.  I'm not going to put myself through that a fourth time and I wouldn't recommend @Prajapati Rahul to go that route either.  If you know someone who works there at Quickbooks and knows how Scheduled Reports work, then feel free to give them my contact info.  My email address is [email address removed].  I will be happy to speak to anyone who has knowledge in the field but simply cannot waste another minute waiting around on a fix from unreliable engineers.

17 months later and Quickbooks has yet to fix this problem!  I have spoken to multiple customers who are experiencing the same thing but Intuit does nothing to resolve the issue.  Their only response is "please contact customer support", when customer support isn't even trained on how the program works.  I've had dozens of cases opened and escalated but since no one at Intuit understands this program, they never call back.  On the rare occasion that someone does call back, they waste hours of time doing the same troubleshooting steps, tell you they will call back when they get a chance to research and then they close your case before they call you back.  Once they close your case, it is impossible to reach them because they call you from the main Intuit phone number and the agents that answer the phone are not able to communicate with anyone other than their supervisor so the process has to start all over again.  It's completely maddening!!  If anyone is thinking about getting Quickbooks for accounting, I would strongly suggest they to look elsewhere.  The customer service at this company is completely dead.  They're all a bunch of robots reading a script and incapable of/prohibited from communicating outside of their given scripts.  I've never in my life experienced this level of incompetence and would be embarrassed to run a company the way they do.

You are correct.  The only people I know using QB are the ones that have been suckered in too deep.

However, they are really good at some communications, including: (a) please pay your annual fee else we will shut you off, (b) we can provide many other services for more money, or (c) create an account online immediately so we can sell your information to other like minded predatory companies.

I particularly enjoy the glitches and bugs that have been in the program since Windows 3.1 and they cannot fix (keyboard shortcuts, arrow keys for navigation on rows, and a host of others).  Good Stuff!

Hello @amberanderson
We are also having this same issue and this is about a year
we tried scheduling email in QB 2023, QB 2020, and QB 2018 but in all versions same issue.
We did much research and tried every possible solution but all the same, no soluation.
If you find any soluation then please do share it with other.
Thanks

Hey Prajapati,

I'm sorry to hear that you are still dealing with this as well.  I will be sure to let you know as soon as I find some sort of working solution.  There has to be someone at Quickbooks who understands the scheduled reports program.  If only that person could reach out and speak to us, then we could get somewhere.

Hi All -
We have the scheduled reports working in QB23 (and also in QB22, QB21) however not without quite a bit of work.  I've commented previously on UAC settings that need to be accurate etc, so that is step one.

For whatever reason, the scheduled reports always give us a hard time when upgrading to a new version of QB.  We even got our IT company involved because there was no reason it should not be working and QB Support knows nothing about getting the reports working.

If you go to the Task Scheduler on your computer, you will find the QBScheduledReport there and it will give you detailed info on why the reports are failing.  We found if we double clicked it and forced it to run, the reports would send.  For them to send automatically, the QBScheduledReport inside of the Task Scheduler was completely deleted and then recreated and all our scheduled reports send now daily.  Try this option and see if it works!

@CRS-AN
Thanks for response
We already configured UAC settings but no luck.
I will surly check QBScheduledReport process and get back with status update.
