Buy nowHas anyone used Sports Engine HQ and integrated with Quickbooks. It doesn't show up in Apps, and the transactions are backwards on the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss. Sales transactions are showing up as a debit to sales and a credit to cash instead of the other way around. Help!!
Thank you for reaching out to the Community, @kimberly. Let me provide you with some insights about your transactions in Sports Engine HQ.
Once the App is integrated into QuickBooks Online to Sports Engine HQ, it will show on the App page. However, if you connect the QuickBooks Online through Sports Engine HQ I recommend contacting Sports Engine HQ Support to further help you configure the connections and help you set up a seamless flow of the transactions.
Additionally, here is an article that can help you manage apps integrated with QuickBooks Online:

Come back to this post if you have other concerns or follow-up questions about QuickBooks Online Apps. I'm always here to help.
When I click "launch" on the apps page, it just brings me to a blank page and does nothing.
Thanks for the prompt response, Kimberly. Let me assist you in resolving the issue of why you're having trouble accessing the integrated app with QuickBooks (QBO).
One of the possible reasons why you're facing difficulties while trying to launch the integrated program in QBO could be due to cached data and cookies stored in your web browser. Let's try making your invoices through an incognito window to confirm if it's a browser-related issue. Here are the shortcut keys to open an incognito window:
Once you're in incognito mode, log into your QBO account and open your Apps page again to access SportsEngine HQ. If it works using a private window, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to improve the program's performance. Otherwise, using other supported browsers can be a good alternative too.
However, if the issue persists, I'd suggest contacting our Technical Support Team. They have the tools to securely look into your account and can perform a screen-sharing session to investigate this behavior further.
Feel free to reach out to me again if you have any other concerns or follow-up questions about managing the integrated apps in your QBO account. I'll be here and ready to help at any time. Goodbye for now!
Thank you! I just tried your suggestion and it didn't work

I appreciate you joining this thread, @RCL123. I can see the urgency of this matter, Let me share additional information on an issue where a third-party app opens to a blank screen.
In this case, I'd suggest reaching out to SportsEngine support so they can check if there's an ongoing maintenance on their end.
Once resolved, you can check this article to learn how to find, download and manage third-party apps in QuickBooks Online: Integrate apps in QuickBooks Online.

Hey Kimberly, thank you for letting me know I'm not crazy when it comes to this SportsEngine / Quickbooks integration. Were you able to figure anything out? I've spent the afternoon on the phone with both apps, & I'm still experiencing the same issues you had. Thanks! Drew, Cambridge Youth Hockey - [email address removed]
No! In fact, I just emailed them again the other day asking for an update since it's been over a month and no word from them at all....They said they are still working on it. It's soooooooooo frustrating!!
Hi @kimberlyscott76 and @Drew34 , do you have any solution on the SE/QB integration?
I integrated Quickbooks and Sportsengine last September for about a week - until I realized I couldn't understand how it was recording deposits and payouts. I'm still trying to figure out a solution to reverse the journal entries that SportsEngine made in Quickbooks for that single month, but I'm stuck. I've tried desperately to contact support for both SE and QB - but have been unsuccessful in resolving this...
Nope! They still have not provided a solution, so we still don't have ours syncing...we just enter the transactions as they download from our bank. Instead of doing journal entries to reverse the stupid entries Sports Engine had made, I actually clicked on every transaction and went to the bottom and deleted them completely!!

Quickbooks integration resulting in the Application Error.
This is going to sound like a silly question, but how do I delete them? I mean, I know I can delete them, but how are you able to differentiate which entries were made by SE? @kimberlyscott76 @Drew34
I was lucky that all of the transactions randomly went to one of my little used accounts so I could just go one by one on them. They kind of popped out when I did a ‘general ledger report’ for the couple of days the connection was active.
I also got lucky that we’re in a quiet registration period when I did it, so only had a dozen or so transactions to clean up.
So sorry to hear you weren’t as lucky.
Thank you for the update! I'm with you on the pessimistic feeling of the getting it working any time soon!!
Not silly at all! On ours it was very obvious because it made a brand new sales account.
I went to the profit and loss statement
Then I clicked on the sales account $ amount that sports engine had created
That brings up all the transactions (I also clicked on the top to go to the classic version - cause I like that better)
Then I clicked on each transaction and at the bottom clicked "more" then clicked "delete"
It took forever, but I was happy they were gone!!
@Drew34 I am impressed you got anyone from SportsEngine to open a ticket for this. They brush me off unanswered most times I try to ask them. When I do get an answer, they are quick to say it's a QuickBooks problem...
