Statement of Activity for nonprofit in QB Desktop

A "Statement of Activity" is a standard of reporting for a nonprofit  . . . see attached . . . I am trying to run the books of a nonprofit in QBDT Pro 2023 . . . 

The purpose of the nonprofit statement of activities is to provide detailed information about the organization’s transactions and how those activities help further the organization’s mission through various initiatives and programs.

When your statement of activities is complete, it will look something like this:

Currently, we're unable to customize the Statement of Activity report to display the Restricted and Unrestricted funds. However, I can walk you through exporting it to Excel so you can manually input the data.

To do that:

1. Go to Reports, select Company & Financial, and click Statement of Activity.
2. Select the Excel dropdown and click Create New Worksheet.
3. Choose how you'd like to export and select Export.

Furthermore, you can set up a memorized report in QBDT if you want the same settings available for future use. It saves you from having to repeat the customization procedure.

Yes, however, in my dropdown on desktop QB Pro 2023 under Reports, Company and Financials there is no Statement of Activity option . . .

Allow me to share some clarification about modifying reports in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).  

The Statement of Activity provided by the previous agent applies to QuickBooks Online (QBO). In QBDT, we can run a Statement of Cash Flows and export it to Excel. This way, you can manually input the Data.
