Have there been any changes or updates to your subscription recently? Like downgrading? As you know, this type of report is unavailable if you are in Simple Start. If there's no downgrading happens, we can perform basic troubleshooting steps to see if it's a browser issue. Sometimes your browser's cache and cookies become corrupted, causing problems when accessing websites or setting up accounts. To begin, open your QBO account in an incognito window. It will prevent the browser history from being saved. Please refer to the following keyboard shortcuts based on your browser type:
If the private browsing session works, clear the browser's cache so the system can restart. This task is also possible in other supported, up-to-date browsers. Clearing the cache will reboot the system, allowing you to work with clearing the cache. It will also help you get rid of any junk files that might be slowing down your work.

I operate 2 companies in QuickBooks Online using the same browser. The P & L Detail report is still available on the other company's list of reports. The only P & L Report available on this company is called Profit and Loss by Tag Group under the For My Accountant Grouping of reports. I use this report often, can tech support restore this report back to my standard reports?
I operate 2 companies in QuickBooks Online on the same browser. One of the companies still has the P & L Detail report. This report is missing from one of the 2 companies. The only P & L Report that remains is the Profit and Loss by Tag Group under the Business Overview section. Can tech support restore this report to the Standard Report Group? This is a standard issue report that we use this frequently.

There are specific reports available in every subscription. The Profit and Loss (P&L) report specifically, is only available in QuickBooks Online Essentials, Plus, and Advanced. Having said that, I recommend verifying your plan type on your Account and Settings page. See the image below for reference:
If you're using QBO Simple Start, then the P&L Detail report is unavailable just like what JamesAndrewM mentioned. You'll want to consider upgrading your account to access more comprehensive reports. Simply review the available plans and pricing first then select Upgrade your plan on your Billing & Subscription area. Check out the snapshot below for a visual guide:
