What category do Partial Customer Returns fall into? Similarly, if I get paid but refund the payment in full, should I simply delete/exclude the transactions instead?

Hi deanca0!

Yes, you can just exclude the refund so it won't be included in tax estimation at the end of the year. See more info about excluding transactions. This includes steps for browsers and mobile devices.

You may also want to check about the Schedule C and expense categories in QBSE.

Let me know if you have questions. Have a good one!
