May I know your bank provider? It's possible your financial institution is performing system maintenance causing the bank account to show a closed status. It's could be also there are notifications on your bank’s website that need your attention. We can click the Refresh all button to load the page and automatically update the bank data.
Here's how:
If the same thing happens, please reconnect your bank account into your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). This will refresh the connection between your bank's website and your online account. For the steps and details, you can check out this article: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
I've got a link here that provides you articles with managing bank feeds: Find help with bank feeds and reconciling accounts.
Keep me posted if you need a hand with downloading and categorizing your bank transactions or any QBSE related. I'm always here to help.
I am having the same problem where an account is CLOSED and not importing data, but the account is actually open. It is a Chase credit card account. The credit card was replaced once due to a fraudulent purchase, which resulted in a new credit card number.
I already tried "refresh all" as well as reconnecting the account. In the login process, the Chase screen shows the account in "what Intuit can access".
I know what we can do about this, pat-yan.
Since you mentioned that the credit card was replaced, this means that we'll need to establish a new connection. You don't need to disconnect or hide the existing bank accounts.
We only need to establish a new connection the new credit card and categorize the downloaded transactions. You an use these links for reference:
If you encounter the same problem, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They can review your account and help you connect the new credit card information: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.
Let us know if you have additional queries regarding the bank account connection.
Like I said, I already reconnected my bank account. The card shows up in the log in screen when connecting the account, but Quickbooks isn't importing the data.
We want to make sure it'll will be fixed, Pat-yan.
I suggest reaching out to our customer care support since transactions are still not downloading after refreshing the account. Here's how:
Once it's fixed, you can categorize the transactions.
