I know a way to remove Overdue on the invoices received by your customers, @dallas14. I'll gladly walk you through to reach your goals.

The status will show automatically on the invoices when it is beyond the due date. Since it's a default setting in the Modern template of the new invoice layout, it can't be disabled. However, you can create and use other custom designs, so they will not be displayed. Here are the steps to achieve that:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top right and select Custom Form Styles.
  2. Click the New Style dropdown button and pick the Invoice form.
  3. Enter the template's name for easier identification on the field provided.
  4. In the Design tab, tap Change up the template option and choose a style you want from the choices. You could customize the information presented by clicking the Content and Email sections.
  5. Once done, press Done.
  6. In the invoice, hit the ⚙ Manage, then hover to the Design segment and set it to the new one.

Once you've changed to the latest outline, you can't view the transaction using the PDF and Email View feature. Instead, tick Print and Download at the bottom to see the invoice. It will look like this:

Moreover, it's crucial to record the invoice payments when you receive them from your customer to maintain accuracy and proper recording of transactions in your account.

By this means, you'll have an invoice without showing the overdue status. Let us know if you have other concerns or questions about managing your invoice and other QuickBooks-related tasks by hitting the Reply button. We've got you covered. Have a great day!
