Hello, cdill1.
We want to help you with your concern about editing transactions. However, changing the customer statement template isn't an option in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
For now, you can choose to list each transaction as a single line, including all details, and show the aging table at the bottom of the form. To do this, you'll have to visit the Sales menu on the Account and Settings page. For the detailed steps, here's how:
Additionally, you're able to customize your sales forms like invoices, quotes, and sales receipts. This is to add information that matters most to your business. For the step-by-step guide, you can refer to this article: Customise invoices, quotes, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online. It also includes details about editing custom templates.

Ok. then the workflow automated option will have to be turned off? I will have to do this manually each month?
I have clients that have invoices older than 365 days. Why wouldn't QB include ALL invoices? I like this option but need it to include ALL invoices.
Hi there, @cdill1.
Yes, you can disable the workflow automated option and create statements manually each month. Though, it would be helpful to have more conditions, such as the inequalities symbols and date range filter. These options would help you decide to whom only you're sending the statements and invoices. I'll relay this message to our team in concern here on my end and add your vote for this one.
