Join nowHi, lost credit card and was replaced. I didn't reconcile 2 months before I lost it. Now when I download transactions QB tells me the account is not recognized and need to create a new one. How do I first reconcile the transactions with the old credit card and then the ones with the new one?

Firstly, let's download a QBO file consisting of two months' worth of transactions to cover where you ended your last session of reconciliation. Then, import the file to your existing credit card account and start working with the reconciliation.

Hi, the issue is that the credit card issuer is using the same file, when I download, doesn't matter the dates, it shows always the with the new number so QB is asking to create a new account.

Since the file is causing QuickBooks to request to make a new account, I recommend contacting our Technical Support Team for this one. Hi, with the support I don't have good experience. What will be the easier way to fix that? I believe only renaming the credit card account in QB will fix it, I just don't know how to do it since it is already in the bank feed.

Once online services activate in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), you may need to disconnect the old account so you can reconnect the replacement card.
To disconnect your old credit card account, see the steps below:
Once done, reconnect the credit card account using the replacement card.

Please know that you'll have to disconnect your old credit card account first before you can connect the credit card account using the replacement card. You can follow the steps given by my colleague, @MirriamM. If the issue persists, I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Team. This way, they'll set it up for you so you can start reconciling your transactions in QBDT. To begin, here's how:
