I am trying to set up and memorize an Unpaid Bills Detail report. This is used to balance against vendor statements so I need the columns to be as absolutely narrow as possible. So I set my column width, memorize, and hit print. But as soon as I hit print, QB automatically reformats my entire report so that it's as wide as the page. How do I stop if from doing that? I want my column width exactly as I set it.

I think the forum bots are confused. This has nothing to do with the printer. The question in the quickbooks forum is about quickbooks. Quickbooks is reformatting before sending to the printer.
Hi GalinMcMahon,
We get it that the printed or the file to be printed uses the original format. I would recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support so this will be investigated further.
Alternatively, you can export your report to Excel, so you can adjust the column widths, and print without issues.
I'm just around if you have other concerns. Have a good one.
