Let's ensure the report basis is Accrual, Jpietragallo. This way, the Accounts Receivable balance will show.

Just follow these steps:

  1. Click Reports.
  2. Select Balance Sheet.
  3. Under Accounting method, select Accrual.
  4. Click Run report.

Then, the dates should also be correct.

You can customize the report. This will help you focus on the information that matters to you.

Thanks for sharing how the steps go, jijuvera. I know it can be rough when you can't view all the details on the Balance Sheet report. Let me assist you with that.

Accounts Receivable (A/R) will only show on the Accrual method. Since you've already selected this, I'd recommend making sure you've entered the correct report period. This can also affect the Balance Sheet report.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. On the search field, type in Balance Sheet.
  3. Click Customize.
  4. On the Report period, select the correct date.
  5. Make sure the Accounting method is set to Accrual.
  6. Once done, click on Run report.

For more details about managing the Balance Sheet report, please see this article: Financial Snapshot of your Company.

If you're still unable to view the details, let's open the Balance Sheet report via a private window. This is a good place to determine if there's an issue with the browser.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

Once logged in, check if the details show. If it does, let's clear the browser's cache. This removes its stored files to ensure the program performs efficiently.

You can also use other supported browsers. They'll provide the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks.

Additionally, I've included an article that'll help you learn more about the reports that are available in your QuickBooks Online account. This ensures you're able to get snapshots of the different areas of your business: Reports Included in my Subscription.

I'm only a post away if you need more help in completing your other tasks in QuickBooks, jijuvera. It's always my pleasure to help you out again.
