Since the latest update to QuickBooks online - has anybody your FOOTER on the bottom of the invoices disappeared? Verified it is saved in the default template used

Previously always had a footer printed on the estimates/invoices - but since the new update online QB it is not showing when viewing or printing the files.  Need to figure out how/why the footer we have saved in the default template is not appearing.

Let's resolve your concern to get back to tracking your invoices and estimates in QuickBooks Online (QBO), info2030.

In the latest update, the set message in the footer will not be visible in the Modern view. Make sure not to use it when creating an invoice or estimate. Also, double-check that you've selected the correct default template when creating the activity in question. Here's how:

  1. Click on +New, then select Invoice
  2. Tap the Manage icon at the top right of the template.
  3. Go to the Design tab.
  4. If the default setting is Modern, remove it and select the correct template from the Other Templates section.

If the issue persists, I suggest performing some basic troubleshooting steps to determine if it's browser-related. The system sometimes behaves weirdly due to stored internet cache files. You can start by logging in to your QuickBooks account and performing the activity using a private browsing window. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + H

If it works, return to your regular browser and clear your browser's history to start afresh. You can also utilize different supported browsers because the QuickBooks version you're using now may have a temporary malfunction.

You can also tailor your sales forms to your preference and have professional-looking templates. Refer to this article: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Thank you for the detailed instructions.

I performed all of the steps but still no footer shows on the emailed or printed estimate.

Why are these issued ongoing, if not one thing its another, glitch.
