In my case, it's all the projects that have been set as "recurring" that don't show up in the drop down list.  

All the ones that have a non-recurring deadline show up in the drop down list.

Missing list elements like customers or projects are usually the result of too much historical data stored in your browser. We can perform basic troubleshooting to resolve it. First, let's try accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

• Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
• Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
• Safari: Command+Shift+N

Log in to your account and try creating a sample transaction. If you can find all of your projects, I'd recommend clearing your browser's cache. This way, you can access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also switch to a different supported browser to see if it has something to do with it.

Otherwise, I encourage you reaching out to our Customer Care Support team. This way, they can take a closer look at this issue and raise a ticket to our engineering team if necessary.

Here's how:

1. Click the (?) Help icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Dashboard.
2. Select Talk to a Human.
3. Enter a short description of your concern and press Enter.
4. Click I still need a human.
5. Select Contact Us to connect with our live support.
6. Choose Get a callback.

I'm not sure if this was anyone else's issue, but when I looked into the Project status, the one that wouldn't come up in the drop down for me to post to was listed as "Completed".  When I changed the status to "In Progress", I could post to the Project.

I wish this solution showed up at the very top of the feed.  I just converted from desktop to online and have experienced significant issues including one day where I was given 4 incorrect numbers and spent 2 hours chasing my tail for solutions.  I'm still not where I was with desktop but hope I'll figure it out eventually.  Phone support is really hit or miss, and mostly miss.  But I digress...

My projects that didn't show up in the drop down were missing because I marked them as "completed".  Once I changed them to "in progress", they appeared in the drop down menu.  No browser/cache issues, not technical issue, just me not seeing alexiashoe's reply quicker. 

It would have been better had the conversion moved them to the correct projects I created initially.  With qb, that's disappointing but not surprising.
