Hi jsutro,

Currently, printing wallet check is only available in QuickBooks Desktop. You'll want to print a regular check in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Here's how:

  1. Click the + New button.
  2. Select Print Checks.
  3. Load your checks into the printer.
  4. Select the bank account containing the checks you wrote that need to be printed.
  5. In the Starting check no. field, enter the check number of the first check in the printer. The check number is found to the right of the account number at the bottom of the check.
  6. Click Preview and print. If everything is correct, click Print.
  7. Click Done.

Also, l'll make sure to pass this along to our product team to let them know of your business needs.

I also need to print wallet-sized check in QB online.
Can this be supported in the near future?  I'll either need to hand write checks or continue to write them in QB Desktop and then manually record them in QB online  until compatible ones arrive in the mail.

Our product engineers can consider adding this option in the future, @TB78.

I suggest visiting our blogs to keep up with the latest news and product enhancements. All announcements our laid down there so you can check them from time to time:

To keep track of all the checks you've created, you'll want to run the Check Detail report. To achieve this, simply go to the Reports menu, refer to the Expenses and vendors section under the Standard tab. Please see the screenshot below for a visual guide:

What a pain in the A$$!  You provide a link to compatible checks, which includes the business wallet checks.  Then you say it is not compatible with Quickbooks Online in the fine print!  What a waste of money for these checks.  Now what do I do?????

You'll want to print a regular check in QuickBooks Online (QBO). - this answer made me laugh. No we don't wish to which is why so many are asking the question on how to print wallet checks.

So Quickbooks/Intuit sells wallet checks that can't be used in the online products??!? So I just bought a bunch of them and now I can't use them. Another reason to hate QB/Intuit.
