Unable to add vendor amd open the vendor section

Hi @nick-l. I'm here to make sure you can add vendors and view all the necessary info in the Vendors section.

First, let's perform basic troubleshooting. An unresponsive button is usually the result of outdated or corrupt cache files in your web browser. We can clear them in just a few easy steps.

Let's start by logging in to your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

If you can access the Vendor section, I recommend that you clear its cache. By clearing them, you can remove that historical data and access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also switch to a different supported browser to see if it has something to do with your browser.

Additionally, to get your vendor totals, you can run the Transaction List by Date report. You can use the Filter tool to show the vendor transactions types only. For more details, check out this article: Run a report with vendor totals.

Visit me here again in the Community should you need further assistance in accessing your vendors. I'm determined to help you succeed.
