Hi there,  uswebworx.

Do you mean the option to receive credit card payments in your invoices was turned on again after the update?

QBO updates only enhances the user interface or add new features in the program. It doesn't affect the settings in your account. More details about the latest update are discussed here: What’s new in QuickBooks Online.

You can also permanently turned off the QuickBooks Payments feature or remove the option in your account. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear Icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. Proceed to the Payments tab.
  3. In the Payment Methods, disable or remove the credit card option.
  4. Click Done.

I would also suggest reaching out to our phone or chat support teams with regards to your question about getting a refund. They can pull up your account and check if we have this option for you. Here's how:

  1. Click the Help menu at the top-right corner.
  2. Select Contact Us
  3. Let them know that you have questions about getting a refund, then click Let's talk.
  4. Select the available options (chat or get a callback).

Please take note that at this moment, our support channels are only open from 6 AM to 6 PM PT every Monday to Friday due to the ongoing pandemic. Please see this article for more details: Support hours and types.

Keep me posted if you have other questions. We're always here to help.
