QuickBooks Online (QBO) Plus and Advanced versions are for business with more complex needs and business growth. Also, both of these versions integrate with some construction management software. This makes them ideal accounting software for construction companies.
QBO Plus version can track inventory costs/quantities, create purchase orders, and track project profitability. It also allows you to record labor costs, payroll, and expenses with job costing.
In the Plus version, we can track the property management by creating Projects for customers. This helps you set up each property or unit you manage. Then, use the Location feature to track different property locations and class tracking to highlight different types of service offerings.
On the other hand, QBO Advanced includes everything in the Plus version. This includes the ability to track by class, along with exclusive features such as creating custom charts and dashboards, batch invoice import, and custom user permissions. If you have to open a new QBO account, make sure to click the Buy button to get the discounted price for up to 6 months. If you purchase from the trial account or upgrade your plan, you have to pay the regular rate.
