We can verify the item used when creating an invoice. There may be a glitch when you add the service item.
If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our support team directly. We've enhanced the procedure for reaching our support team. You can go directly to the Help menu if you'd like to speak with one of our representatives. This way, they can further investigate what's causing the error.

I am getting this error now and can not create any new invoices. have they found the problem and fixed it?

Our software engineers are ongoing investigating the "Unexpected Tax Line found. Unable to save transaction" error message (INV-105400). For now, I recommend contacting our Technical Support so that they can look up your account and add you to the list of affected users. That way, you'll receive email updates on the status of the in-progress investigation.

MY CILENT CANNOT INVOICE DUE TO THIS ERROR. HE ALSO CANNOT ISSUE CREDIT MEMOS.
This error has been around since 6/4/24. There was a workaround - opening incognito browser and doing it from there. I have had two calls to qbo help - Friday and yesterday - Monday July 15. Help???
