Where can i find a list of chart of accounts?

Hi there, GEllis,

I'm here to help you find the list of Chart of Accounts (COA) in QuickBooks Online.

Simply follow the steps listed below to view the list of COA:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Chart of Accounts under Your Company.
  3. If you want to print all lists, click the Printer icon above the ACTION column.
  4. If you want to run the report of COA, click Run Report, and then print the list from there.

Please see the attached screenshots for your guidance.

If you need to save this report for future reference:

  1. Click Save customization at the top.
  2. Enter a Custom report name.
  3. If you want to share your customized report with other company users, select the Share with drop-down box.
  4. Click Save.
  5. You can then access it through the My Custom Reports (or Custom Reports) tab in the Reports page.

Let me walk you through as you record your product discounts here in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Colleen320

 

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can use the Price Rule feature to record a discount for your product. This allows you to set up a deduction for a specific customer and items. Please know that the discount will automatically apply as you create a transaction. 

 

Before setting up, you'll need to turn on your price rules first in your settings. Afterward, you can create a transaction according to your preferences. 

 

Here's how: 

 

Step 1: Turn your Price Rule

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon located at the upper right corner and choose Accounts and Settings
  2. Select the Sales menu, and tap the Products and Services section. 
  3. Toggle on the Turn on price rules.
  4. Once done, press Save and then Done

 

Step 2: Set up a discount for your product

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon placed at the upper right corner and choose All lists
  2. Scroll down and select the Price Rules. 
  3. Click Create a rule. Then enter the Rule name
  4. In the Customer dropdown, you can either choose All Customers or select a specific name.
  5. Since you want to set a discount for a certain product, you can choose All Products and Services in the Products and Services dropdown. 
  6. In the Price adjustment method dropdown, choose what you prefer. 
  7. Fill out the other provided field which depends on what you choose in the Price adjustment method dropdown.
  8. Enter the Adjusted price for each item. 
  9. Once done, click Save, Save and Close, or Save and New

 

Step 3: Create a transaction

 

  1. Go to the +New icon.
  2. Choose what entry you would like to make. 
  3. Ensure to fill out the provided field.
  4. In the Product/Service column, choose the product for which you've added a discount. 
  5. Once done, press Save and Close

 

Additionally, you can access this material since it contains certain information regarding setting a discount: Set price rules in QuickBooks Online.

 

You may want to customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online to personalize and add some specific info to your sales forms.
