Buy nowHi there, @john297.
It's my priority that you'll be able to print statements in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
I've replicated this in my sample QBO account to be sure, and when I try to print a statement, the print option is there.
To isolate the issue, let's try opening your account in a private (incognito) window. Using a safe browser and accessing the program from there can usually fix the issue.
Check out these keyboard shortcuts:
Once done, try to print a statement again. If this works in incognito, we can try clearing your Internet cache. Before doing so, ensure to close the browser after clearing for the changes to take effect. See Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online for more information.
Otherwise, switch to a different browser like Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari. The one you are currently on may be having a temporary issue with QuickBooks, and using a new browser for the moment will allow you to get back to work.
To know more about how statements work in QBO, visit this article: Create and send customer statements in QuickBooks Online. It contains information on what options you can include in your customer statements.
Please let me know how it goes. I'll be looking forward to hearing back from you. Have a great day!
I have the same problem. Have you managed to sort this John?
Same. Print option disappeared for statements
It does not work in incognito.
spoke to them
it is some sort of glitch in their system.
a quick temp fix is add an email if there is not one. you can add your own. hit save and send, but dont send it. that will pull up the statement with a print option.
that is the quickest fix i came up with. hope that helps
I had another go and got it to work. There is a black bar at the bottom of the screen which has the "Send" etc options at the right end and usually has the print/preview options in the middle. If you click around the middle of this bar, the print/preview facility will come up. Apparently QB are aware of the problem and working on it.
I'm glad to see you here in the Community, @sallybennett1.
I've got some information to share about the preview and print button issue in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
I like to let you know that we have an ongoing issue where some users preview and print buttons unresponsive when trying to print statements. Our engineers are now isolating this matter to identify its root cause and apply a fix.
While we are working to resolve this issue, I would suggest contacting our phone support. This way, they can add you to the list of those affected accounts.
Here's how:

I am having this same problem. I found this message string from 2021. It is now 2024! Why is this still a problem?
You will find the print option at the bottom of the page, @WalkOn. To better understand, I'm here to show you.
The option to print a statement is on the bottom part of the screen. It is between the Cancel and Save buttons. For visual reference, use the reference below:
However, if the option is unavailable on your end, I recommend performing some basic browser troubleshooting to rule out the possibility of having issues with your browser. Know that browsers accumulate temporary internet files that can affect your browsing experience. Too many internet files can sometimes change how your QBO company behaves, resulting in errors when performing tasks. See the following keyboard shortcuts for suitable browsers to open a private window:
If it's now showing, clear your browser cache to start over fresh. Alternatively, you can switch to other supported browsers to further isolate the problem.
On the other hand, feel free to have this link as it provides complete details on how to personalize your forms: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
