Hi @vwphoton,

Most of the unexpected behaviors within browsers are caused by the stored cache. This could be a possible cause as to why you're seeing that error message.

Let's go through a few steps to get your bank accounts fixed:

  1. To isolate the possible issue with the stored cache, you can open your browser's private window. A private window disables cache, which can help in this situation.
    • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
    • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
    • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
    • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  2. If that works, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache
  3. if the issue persists, open an alternative browser available for you.

Take a few moments of your time to view this article: Import transactions from other sources. Here you'll learn how you can manually import your bank transactions.

I'll be around in case you have other questions. Leave them in the comments below, and I'll be sure to get back to you.

Hi Ryan_M

I tried the steps you described on multiple computers and devices, they did not resolved the server side issue of the bank accounts being displayed as [CLOSED].

What is your next suggestion?

Thanks for performing the recommended solutions provided by my colleague, vwphoton.

May I know what's your bank provider? This will help me check if there's a reported issue about this one.

Since the same thing happens after performing the basic troubleshooting steps, it would be best to reach out to our Customer Support Team. They'll pull up your account in the secure environment, Then, they'll investigate what's causing why account shows as CLOSED in the Home page.

Just check out this article to contact them: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) Support.

I've got an article here about manually importing bank transactions into your account: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I'm just one post away if you need a hand with categorizing your bank transactions or any QBSE related. I'll be here to help.
