Why can't I open certain invoices it becomes blank

Hello there,

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. I can share details on why you're getting blank invoices in the QBO version.

Issues like this happen when the browser's stored cache may be full. It can cause unusual behavior, such as getting blank invoices or a blank screen.

I suggest you begin by logging into your account using a private browser. It doesn't store data in the cache and is a great way to isolate browser-related issues.

Use these keyboard shortcuts depending on the browser you're using:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift +N

If you can view invoices without issues, please switch to the regular browser and clear its cache. It helps to restore the default setup and allows you to start QuickBooks with a clean slate.

If the problem persists after using a private browser, use a supported web engine. This way, you can get the best and most secure experience.

Also, the performance of your QuickBooks depends on your computer’s operating system, internet speed, and web and mobile browser. Use the recommended ones to ensure optimal results and avoid issues.

We provide tools to create personalized and professional-looking invoices, estimates, and sales receipts. Here's the link you can check out to view our video tutorial, as well as some detailed steps of the process: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
