Why can't I see my bank statements

Are you referring to the bank statements auto pulled by QBO? Sometimes it takes longer than usual to receive those statements. Can you please share the screenshot of the error message?

Why can't I see my bank statements

Hi there, StarTruckingLLC. Let’s go through some steps to troubleshoot this issue and locate your missing bank statement in QBO.

If you’re encountering problems with your bank statements not showing up in QuickBooks Online (QBO), it’s possible that they aren’t syncing correctly. To resolve this, consider manually updating your bank account. This action can refresh the connection between your bank and QuickBooks, allowing your transactions to appear.

To manually update your bank account, here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking tab.
  2. Select the bank account and click Update.
  3. If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials and select Continue update.

Additionally, there are instances when bank transactions might become stuck in the Banking menu. These are the steps to follow to verify:

  1. Go to Transactions, then choose Bank Transactions.
  2. Click Go to bank register.
  3. Select the filter dropdown and enter the details needed.

Furthermore, I suggest checking this article for troubleshooting steps: Bank errors and missing transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Why can't I see my bank statements

This does not answer the question at all! The OP was asking about bank STATEMENTS, not bank transactions. I'm having the same issues, but the 'answers' are always talking about how to download bank transactions, and not what we're really asking about; which is, why downloading bank STATEMENTS isn't working.

Why can't I see my bank statements

Hi, Shtene! I'm here to help you resolve the issue with missing bank statements in QuickBooks Online.

To ensure we’re aligned, could you please confirm whether you’ve accessed bank statements in QuickBooks Online before? If so, which bank were you connected to? I’ll look into any ongoing investigations related to your financial institution. In the meantime, let's go through some troubleshooting steps to rule out any browser-related issues.

Begin by opening your QuickBooks Online account on a private browser. This will allow QuickBooks to start on a clean slate. Once there, check if bank statements appear. If everything works smoothly, I suggest returning to your regular browser to clear its cache to remove outdated files. Alternatively, you can use other supported browsers.

On the other hand, if this is the first time you're accessing bank statements, it's possible that QuickBooks is still working to make the feature available for your bank. You can check if your bank is supported by referring to the list of financial institutions here.

I'll leave this article for more details on the topic: Bank statements.
