If you are referring to transferring money, it takes about 3 business days to move money into your QuickBooks Cash account. Then, it takes between 2 - 5 business days to move money out of your QuickBooks Cash account. The speed depends on how fast your external bank processes the transfer.

I've also added this helpful page to serve as your reference to know more information on how QuickBooks Cash works: Learn more about QuickBooks Cash accounts and the Cash Flow menu. Once everything is fine, categorizing your QuickBooks Cash transactions is easy. To do this, you simply need to go to the Banking page and categorize them from there.

Same thing happened to me as well, As I am sitting here dumbfounded as of why exactly my account was closed 4 days after opening it and several deposits were made to a total of 1500 that is out in limbo. I am a small business owner struggling to stay afloat post covid and a single mother trying to keep a roof and food over my 3 children's head. Quickbooks took my hard earned money and is holding it hostage and treating me like a full blown criminal. I have never ever been treated like such til now in my life. When I called to ask why my account was closed and WHERE are my funds I was told it was a business decision my account is now -$800 and the money will be released in 275 days?????? She was very rude and I swear reading from a script. She was throwing around several different "codes" whenever I asked any question . This has been a nightmare for me I wish I would of never took the recommendation of a friend and turned to quick books. TOMORROW I am going to be on the phone and with bbb and anyone else that will listen ..
A Class action lawsuit is in QBs near future. I just got off the phone QB for the same issue. Pulled over $200k out of a different QB account. Will never recommend QB checking to anyone every again.
Holding $7000 hostage for 275 days is absolutely ridiculous.
Sorry for the late response and hope by now it’s been resolved but they did it to me while I was trying to secure the rest of the financing to buy a semi truck! I didn’t get any headway until I submitted a claim against them thru the FDIC! Yeah I got this business lawyer subscription guy talking about it would be a class action lawsuit! They basically stealing our money then holding to do with what they will and for being intuit really Money has no support, it’s Green Dot! They bounce you back and forth until you get tired, no apologies, no interest, no punitive damages for potential loss of income as a result of their negligence! Really I don’t think it’s incompetence either it’s willful theft!
