Hello Community! I hope you all are thriving, not just surviving. :) We had an article recently about Fall Cleaning Hacks, which got me thinking about how you can “clean up” your business before the end of the year. We all are aware of spring cleaning, but why should spring get all the attention? Let’s look at how you can declutter and reorganize your business this fall.
Clean up your space
So, no surprise I mention this here, but having a tidy and clean space increases productivity. You may think you work fine in a cluttered space, but when there’s takeout from lunch and old receipts on your desk, you may want to rethink that statement. If your desk is looking good, maybe look at your storefront or business vehicles.
Take a look at Marketing
What forms of marketing are giving you the most business? Your time is limited, so spending it on your Facebook Page while Instagram is providing more engagement is definitely important to be aware of. If you aren’t tracking what methods are working, this is a time to start and figure out the best way for you to get that data.
Employees
The start of any season is a good time to evaluate your staffing needs. Are you gearing up for a busy season? Slow season? Do you have employees who have been wanting to go full-time or part-time? This is also a good time to reflect and see if anyone is ready to be promoted. Keeping tabs on this part of your business is not only helpful for you, but shows your employees you’re paying attention. Happy employees, happy boss….or something like that.
