Hello Community! Today I wanted to chat about a topic that has come up at a Content Symposium that I’ve been attending all week. The Content Design leader for the Mailchimp team went over how they go about finding the right tone when it comes to creating content for their brand, so I thought I’d share! Here are the 3 broad questions they ask themselves when creating their brand’s tone:
1. Who are you talking to?
2. What state of mind are they in?
3. What does this writing do?
