@Sangeethmathew I do think first impressions matter a lot. As a self-employed service provider I feel that good, solid first impressions have led me to land more than a couple of great jobs. I also think that the way you treat your professional relationships from that first moment and beyond has a huge impact on whether you retain customers. Giving a good first impression, and then second and so on a so forth adds up to being seen as a business person who's reliable, dependable, caring and hard working -- all good qualities to have assigned to you!
@Sangeethmathew, are you hyper-conscious of how you craft first impressions? Or do you just let interactions flow naturally?
I tend to prefer the latter, authenticity is a rare currency!
Yes, I would definetely agree! The first impressions someone gets about your business matters alot. For us, the first taste of our products is the first impression someone gets about our business and it matters alot. It all depends whether they become a continuous, returning customer, or one that will never eat our products again. :) Its all in what we do to make that first impression. :)
