1. Do your research and create a plan: Identify your site’s goals and target market; Start picking out or creating design elements you like; Start creating content for primary pages

3. Secure your web hosting provider: This is where all your website info will live and be stored. There are two types of hosting for websites to keep in mind: Hosted and Self-Hosted.

4. Find your website builder: Explore different options and try to look for the ones that offer the following things all in one solution: Domain name, hosting, and an easy interface to build and design your page

5. Collect your website content: Start gathering the info that needs to be showcased on your website, such as your homepage, about page, product and services page, etc.

6. Implement SEO best practices: Try using keywords related to your business within your website as well as designs that will translate across other devices.

7. Launch your small business website: Start adding in all your content and having fun with it!

8. Monitor your website frequently and look for potential improvements: Make sure to check in on your website frequently and add in any info that needs to be updated.
