I am also having this problem out of the blue. I've been submitting these forms through QBO for several years and it's been setup properly. I have been unable to get ahold of QBO Support for a week. I get to the point that it says a person will be on soon and no one shows up.

I have existing customer since 2021
Prior years have no issue efiling under DBA instead of legal name ( sole proprietorship )
This year Q1-25 ÍRS rejected code R000-240
Efiling state CA forms and Fed and CA e- payments went through.
i called support QBO and advised that QBO end issue after I upload document to verify identity my client
Today I retried to efile again and irs rejected the same error
if the change legal name should be last name, first name . Right ? Why QBO support not try yet?
