It's important to note that the deadline for filing 1099s for the year 2022 was January 31, 2023. Since this deadline has passed, you need to manually file with the IRS to obtain copies of the 2022 1099 forms outside your QuickBooks Online Payroll.
Additionally, you can begin using the e-file service for the year 2023 starting on January 1, 2024.
