Join nowI accidently put the wrong EIN number when e-filing the 1099 forms so they were rejected. I am trying to fix it and the directions say "From the 1099 filings tab, select Void forms. This will void all forms that have been rejected." I am not seeing anywhere that says "VOID FORMS"
You are not alone. I started a similar thread about an hour ago, and sounds like many of us are running into the same issue.... The VOID button is MISSING.
I want to ensure you can correct your 1099 form, HLUCAS and Laura.
Currently, there's an emerging issue with QuickBooks Online 1099 rejections where customers don't have the Void forms option. And our Engineering team are actively working to fix this for you. To receive live updates about the status of the investigation, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team, so they'll add you to the list of affected users.
To reach them, click the ? Help button at the top-right corner and select Contact Us to talk with a live agent. Ensure to review their support hours to know when agents are available.
Additionally, I'm including this article to help answer the most commonly asked questions about 1099s in QuickBooks: Get answers to your 1099 questions.
Don't hesitate to let me know if there's anything else I can do to help. I'm always here to assist. Have a nice day!
Same situation and guess what? I was able to VOID them this morning and do a new efile and INTUIT did NOT include a checkmark in the CORRECTED section!!!!!!!!! I am going to lose it.
How could you have us VOID 1099s and instruct us to reprocess and NOT check the box for Corrected??
I just contacted one of our contractors who said they received their 1099 yesterday (the REJECTED one) and I was hoping they had NOT gone out because now the contractors are going to receive a 2nd 1099 WITHOUT the corrected box checked!!! Intuit what a disaster you have created this year. What do you have to say about this?
5 times my submission for 30 plus vendors was rejected without any specific indication as to which vendor or what info was missing.
I ended up getting so frustrated that I filed through 1099tax.com
Then guess what? I get a barrage of emails from upset vendors that they did receive the ‘ ‘rejected’ forms.
QBO - These files were clearly rejected only for them to get accepted. What an absolute joke. You’ve really put me in a bind with my clients. What a mess!!!!
