Hi there! Since October 2023, I have needed to take extraordinary measures outside of Quickbooks to formulate accurate reports to file monthly sales taxes. Also, I have been unable to enter the sales tax amounts paid because of a system error. It has been burden.
I postulate the following to the Quickbooks engineers or to whom it may concern:
Why not restore or revert the tax center programming to August when there were no detrimental tax center issues, until you can debug the new? The current tax center state has resulted in significant adverse effects. With a new tax season quickly approaching, a different strategy may need serious consideration.
Im still not getting updates on a resolution for this. Its been months.
Allow me to share some updates regarding the said investigation, ballardwater.

I've been having the same problem as well. I've reported it and they act like they never heard of it before and then after an hour or so, they finally say "Oh, yeah, we will add you to the existing tickets and update you when there is progress". From past experiences, I know that'll never happen. The advice they told me is that the more people who report via the "Feedback" button under the Gear Icon, the more attention it'll get. So go to the Sales Tax Center and screen shot the page and then report feedback. Maybe if enough of us do it, they'll actually do something because, despite what person above says ... the engineers are certainly not working on this to resolve it quickly. It is insulting to even say that. Do they even test the software before a rollout?
They always say that they'll add you to the ticket and update you ... but that NEVER happens. It is a complete lie.
The Product Engineering team was working on this, huh? It has been 3 months and they must be really hard at work because this is still not fixed. No one cares and no one does anything about it.
You shouldn't tell people that the Product Engineering Team is working on something when they clearly are NOT. Additionally, don't tell people that they'll get updates on the ticket. In my many years of problems with QBO, they have never ever sent updates on a ticket. What a joke.
I did get an update, but no information, just acknowledging the issue. This is such a HUGE issue that is causing difficulties for many for it to take this long and still no resolution
