NJ-927 and WR-30 Unavailable?

Hi, I was told by Quickbooks online that the NJ-927 and WR-30 were NOT supported with QBO. Is that correct?

They actually told me to pay an accountant to do this!

How can QBO not support two critical state forms?

It took more than 3 hours with them to figure this out. If this is the case, how do they not already know this?

NJ-927 and WR-30 Unavailable?

Thanks for checking in with us, gossamer. I'll provide details on how to access your state tax forms.

The e-filing of NJ-927 and NJ WR-30 is currently unavailable in the QuickBooks Online(QBO) payroll. However, you can access these forms in the program and file them on your state's website manually.

Here's how to access your tax forms:

  1. Go to the Taxes menu.
  2. Select Payroll Tax.
  3. Choose the Filings tab, then look for the NJ WR-30 and NJ-927 forms.

For more tips about viewing your payroll tax payments and forms in QBO Payroll, check out this article: Access payroll tax forms and tax payments.

Additionally, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support if you still can't access your tax forms. They have the tools to access your account in a secure environment and can conduct a thorough investigation.

Please feel free to comment here for any additional questions about state tax forms in QBO payroll. We always have your back.

This is not at all a helpful solution.

First, there are NO forms under "archived forms".

I also mentioned in my original post that I've already talked to

[my first response failed]

This is not at all a helpful solution.

You provided no useful information about my original question - how do I file my NJ-927 and WR-30 and why isn't it available in QBO at all?

I also mentioned in my original post that I've already talked to QBO and they informed me these forms weren't available in QBO. Is that correct? That seems wrong.

NJ-927 and WR-30 Unavailable?

I appreciate you sharing your concerns in detail, gossamer. I see that you have invested significant time and effort to fix this. Let me shed some light on this matter and ensure you can file the necessary forms.

While QuickBooks Online offers extensive payroll and tax features, there are certain limitations in handling state-specific forms and filings. These limitations are due to variations in state regulations and the complexities of integrating each state's electronic filing system into the platform.

The forms NJ WR-30 and NJ-927 are accessible in QuickBooks Online, but you'll need to manually file them on your state's website.

To locate these forms, you can follow these steps:

  1. Hover over the Taxes menu, then select Payroll Tax.
  2. Choose the Filings tab, then look for the NJ WR-30 and NJ-927 forms.

Additionally, you can generate the Payroll Tax Liability report to compile the required tax information for manual filing on your state agency's website. It is advisable to seek guidance from a professional accountant to ensure accurate completion of your filings.

To run the Payroll Tax Liability report:

  1. Head to the Taxes menu, then select Payroll Tax.
  2. Click the Payments tab and pick  Resources.
  3. Hit Tax Liability report.

For future reference, you can run a payroll report to get a detailed summary of your company's payroll expenses, including employee salaries, bonuses, taxes, and other related costs.

Yeah, except it turns out this is complete nonsense.

For any other unfortunate QB users, contact them directly and insist you receive the support you deserve.

Why are you going to archived forms? of course there are no archived forms because you never filed the form before to be archived !
