Hi,
I have been trying to contact the Tax Resolution Center about my issue for over 2 years and CANNOT get a response.
I received a letter from the IRS more than 2 years ago now. I have tried contacting QBO about this matter on an at least monthly basis with no response or path to resolution. This issue it is due to QBO's failure to file a payroll tax document in Jan 2020. Now the IRS is charging a $1,500 fine with interest for this failure during my period of subscription to payroll services. I had auto-file enabled for the duration of my subscription period, and all timelines for this fall within my subscription period (Subscriptions ended: Payroll - Apr 2020; QBO+ - May 2020).
I have contacted QBO's Payroll department via chat, phone, email, and submitted the letters directly in the QBO portal tax notice resolution center more times than I can count.
I have never received a ticket # when I email the tax notice resolution directly, despite the auto-reply email saying I'll receive a ticket within 2-3 business days. I can't see ANY of the documents I've uploaded in the QBO portal tax notice resolution center.
I am at a complete stalemate with all escalation points, and cannot get anyone at the tax resolution center to review the issue, or get help troubleshoot why I cannot receive a ticket #, response, or even see the documents I've submitted in the tax notice resolution center portal.
I am at my wit's end. I just tried chatting with Wilfred and before he could even give me a first step he left the chat. I assume he caught up on all the history of my attempts and left before he could be further involved.
[email address removed] is not responding, and has not created a single ticket in the several years I've tried contacting them. Their auto-reply always says they will respond with a ticket in 2-3 business days, and they never have.
I hate it here.
Can SOMEONE please help me with even finding the path to resolution??

The Tax Notice team will acknowledge your tax notice submission via email within 3-5 business days. However, if you do not receive a response from them, I recommend contacting our Live Support Team.
