When are we going to be able to import Quickbooks Online into TurboTax Business?

It is ridiculous that these services do not talk to each other. There are many features unique to QuickBooks Online, but for many company compositions you need to use TurboTax Business, a desktop application. TurboTax Business only accepts imported data from QuickBooks Desktop, so if you use QuickBooks Online you are forced to manually enter your information. This is not a new issue, but it is one that many support staff seem to be unaware of.

What is the point of being in the Intuit ecosystem if you cannot import data between services? That was the entire reason I switched to QuickBooks in the first place.

I understand your challenges with the lack of direct integration between QuickBooks Online and TurboTax Business, which prevents seamless data import. While there is currently no integration between these services, it's worth noting that software updates and improvements are constantly being developed.

Providing feedback about sending QBO data to TurboTax and specific needs is a good idea. Our engineers may could them into account when planning future updates and improvements to our products.
