Here we are at 2:45 on February 24 and getting the same error, no change to Name of TIN.
Hello there.
The feature to update the contractor/vendor's name and TIN is yet to come sooner. Let me provide you more information about this.
1099 Corrections are already available as of February 19, 2025. However, there's a temporary limitation about updating the contractor/vendor's name and TIN. Our engineers are already aware of this and are working to enable this feature as soon as possible.

I'm also getting this error and I am also only trying to correct the amount listed on the 1099. I haven't even messed with any other info. I had 4 1099s to correct and 3 of them worked just fine but this one keeps giving me this error!
As everyone keeps stating, the name and TIN are not being corrected. Only the total amount paid but it is still giving this error even though name and TIN have not been changed. This is very frustrating.
I have the same problem, only trying to change the amount after my accountant found a misfiled expense. I check twice a day, and it still won't get past the error message.
I was able to change the name and EIN - when I press the "Next Button" from step 2 "review recipient" I get the error "Something went wrong - Please try later" I have tried all suggestions such as incognito & clearing cache etc
Resolved the "try later" message now I am getting
