Cancelled Subscription - Message insinuates access for more than a year if you have another subscription?

We recently sold a company and are now cancelling our QBO subscription. We have one other QBO account, and are about to launch yet another. 

 

When I cancelled it, I received this message popup (see attachment): "You can view your data as long as you have another active subscription. If you don't have another subscription, you can still view your data for one year after your subscription ends."

 

I added the bold and underline. 

 

We all know that we have access for a year after cancelling, but this appears to state that if we have another active subscription, that we have indefinite access.

 

I called support and they stated they only knew of having 1 year of access after cancellation.

 

Does anyone have insight as to whether or not the message is true, and how we would confirm they know we have another active subscription (in the case where we might use a different email)?
