Subaccounts are linked to the Parent account, and their combined balances affect the overall bank balance of the parent. However, the combined balances of the Subaccounts do not align with the Parent account due to the inclusion of transactions made within the main account.
Please also review the Check you transferred from the Main account to the Subaccount. Confirm that details such as the transaction date are accurate and posted to the correct subaccount. The status should also not be R (reconciled) on the register.
Additionally, selecting a subaccount to reconcile will only show the transactions under it. In this case, ensure you pick the Parent account and verify that your ending balance amount is precise. To do this, follow these steps:
