Hi there, Jeanette.

In QuickBooks Online, you can sort the QuickBooks balance by clicking on the arrow pointing upwards. This action will organize the accounts based on the number of transactions, ensuring that the accounts with the highest activity are displayed at the top. By utilizing this sorting feature, you can easily identify and access the accounts that experience the most frequent transactions. Here's how you can achieve this:

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Navigate to the QuickBooks balance section where you wish to sort the accounts.
  3. Look for the arrow icon pointing upwards next to the column header (such as "Account Name" or "Number of Transactions").
  4. Click on the arrow pointing upwards to initiate the sorting process.
  5. The accounts will be rearranged based on the number of transactions, with those having the highest activity appearing at the top of the list.
