The QuickBooks Time and QBO integration offers an automatic import of any new or edited information in both programs. This includes changes made to projects as soon as export or import process are completed.
You'll want to access your QB Time account in a private or incognito window. You can also use other browsers if you have a different option in your computer. This would help us check if a browser issue is preventing the program from updating the project's status.
Use these keyboard shortcuts on how to start an incognito browsing session:
- Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome
- Ctrl + Shift + P for Firefox
- Control + Option +P if you're using Safari
- Ctrl + Shift + P for Microsoft Edge
Once done, check if project's status is now automatically changed. If you can see that it's being updated, follow the steps in this article to delete your browsing history: Clear Cache And Cookies To Fix Issues When Using QuickBooks Online.
Alternatively, you can also manually change the status of the project by going to the Project Posts and Activity section. Then, click Progress and select Completed. Here's an article for additional guidance: About the QuickBooks Time Activity Feed.
