In the desktop program, you can use the QuickBooks Workforce to email paystubs and forms to your employees. Before activating the feature, make sure you’re able to perform the following tasks.

• Installed the latest maintenance release
• Updated tax tables
• Log in as QuickBooks administrator

Once done, let’s go ahead and turn on QuickBooks Workforce. I’ll be your guide today on how to accomplish this task.

Here’s how:

1. Go to the Employees menu at the top bar to select Manage Payroll Cloud Services.
2. On the Payroll Cloud Services page, navigate to the QuickBooks Workforce section, and move the slider to the right to turn it on.
3. Enter your pin or create one to send payroll data.
4. Click the Save Changes button.
5. Next, choose Return To QuickBooks in the confirmation window.

By the time you run payroll, upload the paychecks to Intuit. Follow the process in the following article and proceed to Step 7 in the Set up your company file for QB Workforce Admin section.
