I understand that this isn't an easy process, DS127.

Let me share some information on why transactions are missing after migrating from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). I'll also guide you on how to fix it.

You may notice some differences in how the data appear when you migrate data from QBO to QBDT. Please know that due to limitations, some transactions don't move to QBDT. To learn more about the details, you can refer to this link: Learn how features and data move from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop.

Also, we're unable to select a certain type or date during the conversion process. As a workaround, you can run Condense Data from your QuickBooks Desktop. Here's how:

1. Make a full backup of your data.

2. Run a "Condense Data" and select the date you want to remove all transactions prior to.

3. Once done, convert THAT file with the removed transactions to QB Online.

This way you still have a full backup of your desktop data in case you need to access it.

For future reference, I'm adding this helpful article to learn how to create rules to categorize transactions to put them in the right account: Create rules to categorize transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.

I'm here to back you up if you need further assistance with this. Keep in touch for any additional concerns about migration or QuickBooks in general. Take the best care!
