In QuickBooks Desktop for Mac, you have the option to reset your password in order to access your company file. I would be glad to provide guidance on this process.
If you're the administrator of the company file, follow these steps:
- From the Password field, select the lock icon. You’ll see a pop-up menu listing recovery email addresses.
- Choose an email address you have access to.
- Click OK.
- QuickBooks will send you an email that will walk you through creating a new admin password.
Once this process is complete, you can log in to your company file using the new password.
