Hi sduttonusa,

Thank you for the additional information. I'm happy to explain what's going on with your payments and report.

Basically, you received the payments in November and in December 2020, and you deposited them sometime in 2021. It's similar to receiving payments today and let them stay in your drawer for some time, then deposit them in the future.

Depositing the payments transfers the $9750 amount from Undeposited Funds to your Check registry. That's why when you changed the year of your Balance Sheet to 2021, you no longer see that amount in the Undeposited Funds account.

You can open each $4875 payment again. Then, click the Reports tab and choose Transaction History to see the exact date you deposited them.

On the other hand, I wouldn't recommend changing anything on your deposit. Like you've said, the dates in the check registry are properly recorded, and the transactions are reconciled. You may however change the dates of the payments if you find out that they are incorrect.

Hope this clears up everything. Let me know if you have more questions. Take care and have a good one!
