Lori began her professional career in the private sector, working for a single company for nearly 20 years. During that time she grew with the company moving from inventory control, purchasing, accounts receivable and eventually into bookkeeping, accounting, payroll and office and staff management. She was instrumental in the accounting system set up and implementation, including merging of accounting systems. She has seen business from both employee and management perspectives. Prior to joining the firm, Lori was an accounting manager for 26 homeowner’s associations. During this time she gained a wealth of knowledge in homeowner’s association accounting, including budgeting and reserve fund accounting. Lori moved into public accounting when the opportunity arose 8 years ago and she never looked back! Her private sector background and experience working with a wide variety of businesses in the public sector has been an asset to Hayes & Varga. She is well versed in Quickbooks and several other accounting software packages. Her experience is extremely diverse and ranges from small, sole-proprietorships to larger companies with several departments. She is able to assist clients in all areas of accounting, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliations, Budgeting, Credit Card Processing, Purchasing and Inventory.
