I still have the same issue for the old lot number (1 lot has the same positive & negative quantities). For recent transactions, I used manual way to fix each transaction, and it helps. I also run Verify data, and Rebuild Data very often. Hopefully, QuickBooks Enterprise 2020 can fix this issue.

Hi Jen, Thank you for your response. I manually checked all transactions relate to these lots number prior to make an Adjustment for lot number or quantity. These lot must have 0 quantity in balance. Adjust by lot number was not success because the quantity count is 0 (meaning their value is 0). So, I got a warning message: "You can not record a blank transaction. Fill in the appropriate fields and try again". (see the picture in my original message for more details) Adjust by quantity can't resolve this issue. After this adjustment, the lot number has both "positive and negative quantities".

Hi all, Last year, we found many lot numbers had both negative and positive quantities. We sent the file to The Intuit Data Services team in India, but they could not fix the issue. One of QuickBooks consultant told me that the inventory transfer function has issues, so I stopped using this function. It went fine for 5 months until we use the inventory transfer again. Most of items used for inventory transfer have issues with lot number. I have run "verify data & rebuild data" but these issues are still unsolved. You can see the image below for more detail. My solution now is completely stop using inventory transfer. Do you have better solutions?

@Anonymous wrote: I tried creating a file in 19.0 and didn't see the issue. Is the correct printer selected as your invoice printer? I wonder if the printer driver could cause this, somehow? I also tried to create a new file on my desktop, and the other one on my laptop. (My laptop and desktop share the same printers) -Laptop: the width of the designer template is about 1/3 of the Layout Designer window which causes too difficult to design. -Desktop: the width of the designer template is greater than 2/3 of the Layout Designer window which it is good enough to design.

Hi everyone, Same Lot number per item has both positive and negative inventory quantities (see attached image) I have checked: -Bill dates (make sure material received prior to Build Assembly date) -Build Assembly date (make sure Build Assembly dates prior to invoice date) -No negative quantities of material after finishing build assemblies. Negative quantities still show after creating invoices. We have this issue in QuickBooks Enterprise 2016. Then we upgraded to QuickBooks Enterprise 2019, but the problem is unsolved. Could you please help how to fix this issue? Thank you,

My favorite apps is importing different types of transaction to QBs from MS Excel. It would be convenience, save time and prevent mistakes. Currently, I am using PRO IMPORTER.
