adding customers

I am helping a non profit set up their quickbooks online.  they want to set up Donors (customers).  would it be just like the desktop version, adding customers. they have ones that give reoccurring donations. Is there an option for memorized transactions in the online version like desktop 

any other advice is appreciated

Hi ohbeebee,

 

We can create a recurring pledge. With QuickBooks Online Essentials and Plus, you have the option to set a schedule on when you can send the transaction to your donors.

 

Before doing so, ensure to secure a written authorization from your donors before setting up their recurring transactions. Once done, you're good to create recurring pledge:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Under LISTS, select Recurring transactions.
  3. Click New and then select Pledge as the Transaction Type.
  4. Select OK.
  5. Enter a Template name.
  6. You can select either Scheduled, Reminder, or Unscheduled as the Type.
  7. Fill in the necessary information.
  8. Click Save template.
